What are the parts of a flower?
there's the petals, the stigma which is in the sentre and is yellow, the style which is under the stigma, the ovary which is underneath that with an ovcule inside it. Have a look at the website shown in the sources for the rest. it tells you the functions as well.
Reply:1. Stamen - male part of the flower that includes the


anther and filament


A. Anther - the male part of the flower that produces


the pollen


B. Filament - fine stalk that holds up the anther





2. Pollen Tube - The slender tube formed by the pollen


grain that penetrates an ovule and


releases the male gametes.





3. Pistil - female part of the flower that includes the


stigma, style, and ovary


A. Stigma - sticky surface on the end of the pistil


that traps and holds pollen.


B. Style - part of the female flower that holds up the

3-corolla(group of 5-6 petals)-petals are coloured.


4-calyx(a group of 4-5sepals-green in colour)


5-epicalyx(green coloured found below calyx-usually 4 in number)


U WOULD BETTER BE CLEARED IF U TAKE A ROSE FLOWER AND FOLLOW THE ABOVE SEQUENTIALLY FROM INNER MOST PART.
