The sperm, in the pollen, must reach the Gynoecium, where the sperm must travel to the ovary.
In angiosperms, how do the sperm get to the part of the flower containing the egg?
The pollen grains produce pollen tubes into the style. It is in the pollen tube that the two male gametes are present. The pollen tube reaches the ovary and pierces into the embryo sac. Then the male gameste are released and they fuse with the egg cell and secondary nucleus.
