What is the function of a flower, and what roles do it's different parts play?
The flower is the sexual reproductive part of an angiosperm; its purpose is to produce seeds so as to carry on the species. It consists of four whorls of modified leaves : sepals, petals, stamens and carpals. The stamens are the male reproductive parts which includes the sporangia that produces pollen. The carpals are the female reproductive parts and includes the sporangia that produces the egg.

The petals attract pollinators and protect the sexual parts. The sepals protect the flower during the bud stage.
Reply:This is your homework question, not ours buddy...do a google search if nothing else...there are too many parts.
