Flower Names Part II!!?

Hello everyone





I asked a similar question the other day, and got loads of very helpful responses, so i'm hoping someone is able to help me out again today!





I have a bunch of photos I've taken of flowers (and 1 plant), but absolutely no idea what they are called. The photos are posted here:

To me, flower 4 looks very much like one of the ones I posted before, which people told me was a gazania, but as i'm no expert, i figured i'd include it in there with the others!

Flower Names Part II!!?
Let's see how many I can flub today. 1) Daylily (Stella de Oro),10) Banana (Musa), 2-3) Rhodo-, 4) Waterlily, 5-8-9) Orchids, 6) Japanese Maple, 7) Gazania. RScott
Reply:Hi there! Picture 3 is definitely a rhododendron, number 4 is a water lily, 7 is a gazania, and 1 is a day lily (not sure what variety). Picture 9 might be a variety of coral bells, but I'm not sure, and 2 might be a type of gladiolus. It is difficult to tell without being able to see the whole plant -- if you have more pictures of the others, that would really help.

8 looks like it may be some kind of orchid.
Reply:1 is a Hemerocallis (Day Lilly), 4 is a Water Lilly - nymphaea, 6 looks like an Acer to me, and 7 is a tiger Gazania as mentioned above!.... will have to stare at the others for a while, just can't summon the names at the moment :-))
