Was you part of the hippie area and a flower child?
just a long haired country boy at the time...went to calif. after high school , 1970 , came back ...bummed around ...got a trade and joined the mainstream...put about 50,000 miles on my thumb hitch-hiking all over the u.s....life was good...

edit...anna , you shouldnt criticize his grammar , till you learn how to spell
Reply:WERE you part...and yes, I was. I also attended high school and grade school and spent countless hours learning good grammar. Well that was a long time ago..

I was a hippie, I support women's rights to this day. I did marches against the Vietnam war.. I even experimented with marijuana-decided alcohol was easier to get and legal.

I believe in Peaceful co existance between people. I am just not as sure as I was how that can be brought about.
Reply:No not me. I was busy raising my children and working. No hippie or flower children here. I never burned my bras either.
Reply:Hippies and bra-burning women were two distinctly different groups and (though overlapping) not exactly at the same time.

Bra-burning women were "Feminists", not hippies necessarily.

Yes, I was a hippie. I was of the "Weekend Hippie" variety - meaning that I held down a (corporate) job during the week and dressed like a hippie and did hip things on weekends. It was sort of a half-hearted attempt, but most of us were job holding people with a peaceful agenda.
