I attended a funeral and saw one of the most beautiful varieties of rose I had ever seen. As there was no card attached to this arrangement I thought I might try to describe it and see if anyone knew the variety. The petal was a deep red and there were deep crimson red lines on the petals. The lines looked like velvet, but were actually part of the flower petal. Can anyone identify this beauty?
Red on Red rose, does anyone know the name or variety, truely beautiful!?
Papa Meilland rose is a deep velvety - crimson with obvious veining.
